Submissions

Presse Books is a small arts bookshop by Forma, dedicated to supporting experimental writing, artist-books, small-press editions, clothing and apparel, small art objects or gifts, and printed matter that pushes boundaries of form and concept.

We welcome submissions from artists, writers, small-press publishers and independent makers whose work explores or experiments with the relationship between art, writing, publication and the printed object.

We are particularly interested in stocking items that are reflective of Forma's wider programming. This might include:

• Artist’s books, zines, pamphlets, objects and small-press publications that feel thoughtful and hand-built.
  
  
• Writing that blurs the lines between poetry, essay, image, theory, fiction, and play.
  
  
• Projects that give voice to perspectives often left out of mainstream publishing.
  
  
• Published works on critical theory, curatorial practice, and moving-image.
  

Submission guidelines

Submissions should be sent via email to pressebooks@forma.org.uk. Please share with us images / videos of your publication, alongside contextual information and publishing details (title, pages, published date, editors etc).

All work must be original or fully cleared for rights (i.e., you hold or have permission for all imagery/text).

Please allow up to 8 weeks for us to review your submission.
